Local DAs have always had the authority to indict and prosecute for violations of state law, which is what Bragg is doing.
They never had and still don’t have the power to indict and prosecute war criminals or other federal crimes that would be involved in draining the swamp.
So no new legal precedent here, no new legal options opened up.
