My thoughts....having seen just about every video and witness account available from that night... 'stampede' is really not the word I would use (there was no room to 'run'). It was actually a 'crowd crush' on a narrow alleyway (of which there are many) that connects two main streets in Itaewon. The Halloween party is an annual event, always overcrowded, but since it hadn't been held in a few years due to the 'virus', there were many, many thousands of more people. The alleyway where it happened was on a hill and those being forced (some lifted off their feet) downhill began to fall forward near the bottom of the intersection and the rest toppled and stacked on top of them. Bystanders desperately tried to pull out those being crushed at the bottom of the pile and began treating them for suffocation and subsequent cardiac arrest. All of this is clearly visible in the videos... including the crowd on the main street near the alley intersection and on the alley hill, prior to the 'crush'. Like I said...there are loads of youtube videos....search Itaewon Halloween crowd crush. Not sure how 5g could have played a role in targeting people in such a crowd. I can tell you, I will never again attend a concert that doesn't have seating....the same 'crush' happens at those venues as well.
