I don't drink, so correct me if I'm wrong, but...
I recently read that beer lowers testosterone and raises estrogen, but in years past, it didn't.
Apparently it has to do with how it's made today.
Any truth to that? And what about other drinks, like wine or mead?
Correct. The hops have phytoestrogen and lager beer has a high level, but it's no where near seed oils.

And beer didn't have hops before?
Thank you. That is a great list. I knew that soy was pushed to feminize men, but I wasn't aware of beer. It isn't that much, but if you drink a lot, it will screw up your hormonal balance.
I heard it always did and that's why the Egyptians made sure to give their slaves beer, as it made them more docile.
