Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible in 1953. In 1690 Massachusetts, you could basically accuse anyone of being a witch. They would stand trial, and most likely be killed just for the accusation. This is a play about what happens when hysteria takes over a society, and evil people gain access to all tiers of power; something which happens all too frequently. There is a reason why DJT has used the word (witch-hunt) multiple times. These days, people of power can accuse you of something, and the MSM will burn you at the stake without proof.

An example of a public witch trial is what happened to Posie Parker in New Zealand recently. Here is a diminuitive-in-stature (small in size, but not in deeds) woman who was harassed by a crowd, speaking on Sean Plunkett's platform:

Eventually, things will get so weird that people worldwide will have to stand up and push back. We see it in small pockets here and there, but it’s not enough.
