I sure hope James gets some real action on this! I am excited!
I have had preferred shares since the Torchlight / Meta Materials merger. I never sold a single one. Planned to sell half during the last 2 days and keep half in the new private company. FINRA Halted trading on the last 2 days where shorts HAD to cover because MMTLP was to become private company shares with Next Bridge Hydrocarbons. Shorts can not transfer into a private company.
Now I have a new cusp number, with the amount of shares I owned, with a value of ZERO. POOF gone, no real feedback from brokers, FINRA, SEC, etc.
No. GME is different. GME is still trading. Gamestop is not going to a Private (non traded) company.
The MMTLP shares were a special BONUS dividend given to original TorchLight holders when they merged with Meta Materials. They were never to be traded, some hedgefund fuckery with the help of FINRA (Fraud) these prefered shares suddenly began trading. I think the hedgeies plan was to short it to non existance, so they would not have to pay the FTDs that carried over from TorchLight, BUT,. retail investors started buying it up in droves.
Go to twitter, James O'Keef to learn more if you want, I cant explain all the crazy details of what went down.

Could this happen to GME?
