The state-run media would have been totally respectful and laudatory of President Trump forgoing the public appearance. They'd have praised his statesmanlike, low-key approach and lack of narcissistic need to be paraded in front of his base.
They'd NEVER, EVER have insinuated that being arraigned by phone meant he was above the law, couldn't be bothered to show up, was afraid, panic-stricken, running scared, terrified of perp walk / mugshot / handcuffs / jail cell, etc., etc.
NEVER!!
Last Sunday, when the priest was giving his sermon, the theme was obviously about Holy Week, but what stayed with me was his closing line that "it was the week that changed the world."
Now, I am not insinuating DJT is Jesus, but timing parallels are interesting....and the word 'biblical' appears quite a number of times.
