You are claiming 'There is no going back' and 'there is no stopping it now' are the same thing, that's dumb. They mean the same thing, but it's not some sort of q proof slam dunk.
Seriously, you either need to lurk more or maybe take a vacation day. I don't know if fishing on the Potomac is any good, but it'd be a pretty quick trip from your desk.
