I'm aware there is nothing real backing the dollar, and that's a bad thing.
Q said we have the gold and gold will destroy the Fed.
So my best guess is a gold-backed dollar or combination of Gold and other things.
Here, we'll put this up for auction on the world stage to any power: how much is the US Fleet of carriers and all associated air assets with trained personnel worth? Nothing?
The correct answer is well more than you can imagine.

You want to have a gold standard? You better be able to stop every army in the world from getting to your gold.
There is not, nor ever was a "gold standard". It has always been, and will always be a hot-lead or violence standard.
