You think when they go to get money out of the ATM and nothing is there they will be distracted by some news story? People are stupid, but they aren't THAT stupid. "Distraction" has taken over the award for the most used meaningless statement from the "Panicking" people. Congrats "Distraction", you've earned it.

I didn’t say that at all; try reading my post again. And I for one am far from panicked; this has been coming for a long time and I’m ready. As to your ATM comment, the EBT cards will run out before the ATM; THAT is when the fun starts.
You literally start off by saying "All these distractions". Maybe read what you wrote yourself before calling me out.
I didn’t say people would be distracted by the end result (hunger is an attention-getter) but rather by the impending issues….like no access to money with buying power. You’ve got my words twisted. I’m saying most people are watching what they’re told and ignoring truly important things happening around them. If the word ‘distraction’ bothers you, I will instead say ‘diversion’.
