The PR impact for dems will not just be bad. It will be apocalyptic. Their support will completely collapse once people realized that they not only arrested an ex-president on bogus charges, they violated his rights in the process.

The problem is that the next court date isn’t until December. They will have Trump in court throughout the campaign season. The judge may slap a gag order on Trump as well at anytime.
