They should do this anyway. Yuengling is all-American and proud of it. Still owned and operated by the Yuengling family. They've never compromised or sold out to bigger corporate interests. They keep their values and their product intact.
I tried it many years ago while traveling for work and really liked it. But it wasn't available where I live until recently. They've expanded nationwide so now available in Texas.
Not available in California either, although I just saw on the Yuengling website it was available in my 2nd home state of Oklahoma. I haven't seen Yuengling there because I'm usually looking for F5 IPA brewed in OKC.
My brother lives in CO and told me the Coors family is conservative. Is this true? I drink Coors for domestic beers and Coors Banquet is legitimately a good beer.
I suspect once this gets out, Bud drinkers will switch to Yuengling. It's actually pretty good since I prefer a Lager beer.
