I don't know about the ++, but Jake and Barrett is obviously a reference to Jackson and Bare-it. Superbowl 38 halftime show exposure event AND most recent Supreme Court justices. I suspect they're gearing up for a big show.

By the way, 35 is the other number from the recent Superbowl final score besides 38.
