They were beating us when they controlled the medium. And it made them weak. We no longer rely on the DS medium (FCC licensed entities), and they still do.

We were forcibly weened from 2015-2020, and we grew our teeth in. They have no idea how to compete if they have to leave the teet and venture into the big bad world of merit, and independent thought.

We got a 5-7 year head start.
