As a home brewer's helper, I can also say that home-made beer is way better tasting than Bud-Wipe. With that said, I am interested in learning to make Kombucha, fermented black tea with alcohol content which is negligible. I believe beer in the earliest days was lower in alcohol because of the fact they didn't have clean regular water, you can't be getting the people shit faced and get any meaningful slave labor done.
