I have been reminding people that the first few US Presidential elections, the party's didn't mean much. The candidate with the most votes was President, the one with the second most was VP. It wasn't until Jefferson? or the next one that party's really started coming together in to what we have now, running both Pres/VP as a package deal. I think the Founders knew party's would be a disaster long term and why it was most votes Prez, second most VP regardless of party. We know how much Trump values our Founders and what our country used to be and represent. I can totally see the both of them teaming up, an R and a D for America.
Would be insane if he decided to be Trumps VP
