I've only been there once and it was many years ago. All I can say is that I wish that all of Cuba would dump communism. It was incredibly beautiful. If Gitmo wasn't a prison, it could be a fantastic resort. Our prisons shouldn't be in paradise, it should be in a desert somewhere. It isn't about punishing the prisoners, it's about depriving the rest of humanity from seeing the beauty that we are all missing out on.
