And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. — Acts 27:20
The idea of those summer thunderstorms continues to stick in my mind. Yesterday, I shared with you the thought about preparing for the storm. It’s when those storms are in the developing stage. You see them on the horizon, and you are preparing for them before they get to you. But just because you prepare doesn’t mean the storm doesn’t arrive.
Many times, it’s hard to see what type of storm it is going to be until you get in the middle of it. There are many times that I have seen meteorologists predict significant storms, and the storms end up being small. Other times, they predict a small storm, and it ends up being a major storm. Their predictions do not stop us from preparing, it’s just impossible to know what the storm will be until it is there.
The same goes for the storms we face in our lives spiritually. There are times that we see the storms, but they may be small. Perhaps it is something that doesn’t take much for us to get through. Other times, the storms seem like they will never end. At times, you may feel like Paul here, where the sun and stars don’t appear for days, and you see that this is no small storm that is on you.
It is in those moments that you may feel like all hope is lost. You may believe that you will not survive. But I love a statement by Paul later on in verse 25. As the storm rages and the fear rises, Paul declares to the men that everyone will survive and says these words, “I believe God.”
Sometimes it may seem like you will not survive the storm. But don’t lose hope, and don’t lose faith. Our God is an expert in navigating through storms. He has never once lost one of His own! If you find yourself trying to survive the storm, don’t forget the words of Paul. He trusted God, and you should too.

A couple weeks ago a tornado passed within 400yd of my house. But I wasn’t afraid, for this reason.
Praise God.
I am supremely confident the world will be fine once this Storm blows over. I've avoided enough pretty gnarly situations with God by my side to know that He has Humanity's back in all this. Yes, it's hard not to get wrapped up in the day to day minutiae of all the negative news we find concerning Cabal plans for us, but as long as we all remember and keep at heart the FACT that " In the End, WE win because God wins," we really have nothing to worry about. Give it all to God, as they say.
Amen.
...as long as we keep our eyes on Him, we will rise above the stormy froth....
He will calm the storm and soften the wind and the seas. Amen.
...indeed...
Amen!! Thank you for sharing.
God bless you for your readership.
Remember while in elementary school, the teacher left class, and a few of the kids would start becoming rowdy and others would join in the ruckus. The teacher would return to chaos, & then instructed the entire class to put their heads down on their desk, and berate them a few minutes.
I get the analogy of the storm clouds, and a storm a brewing. Every time I see a burning manufacturing building or today the loss of 18,000 cattle several news articles of train derailments.
All of this while people go to work day in day out, put their kids to bed, as many fail to see what’s going on… the severe loss, and hits the United States is taking, while other distractions seem more important, (then us being under constant attack)
The storm isn’t upon us, it’s here.
If the rain isn’t in my town, I can see the showers from a town over. There is an any amount of prepping -I can do to stop this from reaching us.
I’m scared for those who truly will not see this coming. And I am disgusted by those who know it’s happening but deny it.
Ultimately, I know Gods in charge, and our Savior is preparing for his entrance, that comforts me!
I’m not perfect, but I feel like one of the many kids who had to put their heads down due to others behavior.
I also can’t help but feel like we’ve denied God. Prophecy will come to pass..
Even if many aren’t as wicked, as those with evil agendas, who are attacking our land/prosperity/ideals … we will suffer the fall out.
I don’t believe that there’s one safe place in this world. Especially after seeing the various derailments and chemicals that are purposely being spilled to destroy our water supply in our land I don’t believe that there’s any preparation for what’s going to occur.
I think we’ll need to rely on our Savior, hopefully be spiritually prepared. One talk in our church talked about being spiritually prepared —to listen to the promptings of the spirit during dire situation’s, so we will have that guidance.
We know there’s going to be:
Ultimately- repent & rely on the Savior to make up the difference in our suffering…
...valid observation, nicely stated and framed...
..."A hard rain is gonna to fall"....
(Gotta vent, to folks with like minds..)
...vent on Patriot!!!
God may be an expert but I'm not!

The storm was over for me when the imposter moved into our house. We were told people had to be shown. We got spoiled for 4 years. Just think of the glory to be. I use to hate this sooooo much but not anymore. I have clarity. You get clarity it gets easy. Meditation helps. Get that frequency up.
...compelling addendum...
