I was defending Mr. Beast because he has done good, a lot of criticisms were based on stupidity (REEE he gave someone a car with his brand on it or REEEE he asked his fans to clean up his displays in stores when they were being screwed with) but he has definitely taken this whole thing further than "hey man, Chris is my friend so can you chill out?"
Sydney Watson in particular got righteously indignant due to the fact that he's using millions of followers to "ratio" his critics on behalf of Chris, too. And then Chris showing off his bank account or something as if that validates his opinions.
An absolute shit storm and proving that Chris is a nightmare for Mr. Beast and now moving forward this is part of his brand.
I've been opposed to him from the start. Where did he come from? Where does the money come from? He's a puppet for Youtube/Google to get at the children. All the good done with that money is a front//publicity stunt to lower the populations guard.
MrBeast. Beast? I mean, even the name is sus enough for me to link to Satanism.
The "where did he come from" is a good question and has been from the start, absolutely.
Early on though, he was putting all of his money into the next video, which got him bigger sponsors and more and more funds. So that part makes some amount of sense. Sponsorships will pay an ass load, which is actually kind of silly since I don't think any "influencer" has ever gotten me to buy a product outside of cross referencing reviews.
I think my iFixit toolkit is the only thing I've ever been sold on by a tuber in general, and that's because of GamersNexus and Louis Rossman specifically...and it took finding a kit at my local Micro Center when I was there for something else entirely to finally bite the bullet -- however I digress.
Important thing is, I remember knowing literally nothing about him one day, then seeing him plastered all over the next. It was almost as startling as the switch that was flipped on Reddit when Hillary stole her nomination.
Yeah, been hearing about Mr Beast all over the post. Sad to see thing kind of crap.
