This appears to be yet another Biden regime faux-naif and manufactured leak using a patsy. The military is good for this. If you 'somehow' attract attention and get a target on your back, they'll get rid of you. This is done by first making life difficult through excessive harassment (examples: grooming standards that are never compliant, shoes never shining enough, uniforms that are never within regulation, living quarters never "squared-away" enough, etc., etc.) and by receiving 'shit-detail' duty (cleaning toilets, heads, barracks, extra duty, standing midnight watch detail, etc., etc.), and then the 'offer' is provided to escape this harsh environment. The enlisted man is offered to volunteer for a special assignment. It's essentially a 'good cop', 'bad cop' operation to get rid of the enlisted person. The enlisted person is given orders to a new command to be set up as a scapegoat. I've actually seen this happen to someone.

Did this happen to this Air National Guard individual? I don't know, but since I've seen this scenario play out before, it is entirely possible.
