On this day in history. Specifically April 14th, 1865.
At around 10:15pm in the evening EST. The 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln would be shot in Fords Theater by John Wilkes Booth. He would later die of his wounds the morning of April 15th. Most sources I’ve found peg it between 7:20-7:30am.
Edit: Can’t believe I forgot. But RMS Titanic would also strike its infamous Iceberg this evening April 14th, 1912 near Midnight. Before sinking early on the Morning of April 15th, 1912. Taking 1500+ souls including much of the Major Federal Reserve opposition with her.
I just thought it might be a notable date and timeframe for a possible modern Habbening. Given the obsession with dates, times, and symbolism the Cabal and WH to a lesser extent have.
wow thanks for reminding us. had a feeling something important happened today, but forgot to look.
The RMS Titanic would also strike an Iceberg this evening near midnight. Before sinking the following morning. Taking 1500 souls to the bottom with her. Including most of the major opponents of the Federal Reserve.
yes maybe that was it/thanks. seems like it's all coming together & ending the fed is such a huge part of the plan.
Here’s what I don’t get about the “major federal reserve opposition” dying on the Titanic- they were wealthy themselves and would have easily procured spaces on the life boats, right?
True enough. Though the evacuation was reportedly also a bungled mess.
That and they were also from a time when “Women and Children First” was still something some people took seriously. Culturally, Socially, and Societally. That was the expectation. In the event of a disaster. The safety of Women and Children was to be considered the honorable and Chivalrous priority. In fact the majority of survivors of the disaster were Women and Children.
Allegedly Isidor Strauss the co-founder of Maceys for instance. Reportedly refused a seat on a lifeboat while there were still Women and Children left on board. His wife Ida allegedly refused to be separated from her husband
Ben Guggenheim the Mining Magnate saw his mistress and her maid off in a lifeboat before assisting others into boats with the help of his Valet. Once it became clear he would not be rescued. He reportedly returned to his room with his Valet. Where they changed into evening wear. Reportedly he was heard to remark "We've dressed up in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen”. And according to a message to his estranged wife relayed by a survivor "Tell her I played the game out straight to the end, No woman shall be left aboard this ship because Ben Guggenheim is a coward."
John Astor was last seen alive clinging to the side of a Life Raft. His wife would survive.
The list of the wealthy executives who died was a surprisingly large one. Railroad executives, Steel Magnates etc. The common threads being they saw off spouses and members of their family and staff on lifeboats and remained behind.
On a side note. An investigative Journalist W.T Stead who apparently ran a controversial investigative series of articles on Child Prostitution in the Pall Mall Gazette in 1885 was also killed during the sinking. Just a fascinating side note I found while researching the disaster.
Chivalry wasnt as dead back then.
