I wasn't convinced with this one. Immorality, poor leadership, corruption, civil wars, migration, increasing godlessness, are on my signs to watch list.
The Climate Change Hoax is barreling down the track.
#1 climate change??
I'm not making the case that climate change is happening here and now, BUT even a few degrees difference, plus or minus, can result in massive crop failures and livestock deaths. Geological data over thousands of years shows that the climate does indeed change.... it's the natural order of things on Earth. Climate purists seem to think that there is some kind of "ideal climate" that we must somehow impose, even though we don't have the technology to do that.
We are currently experiencing droughts in the western and mid-western states, an it's probably a long-term trend, AND probably due to increased solar output by the sun. We are entering a new climate pattern, most likely, but there's not a damned thing we can do about it.
No amount of CO2 reductions, "fossil fuel" consumption, or any other "Green" efforts will make a dent in what is coming. There are forces at work -- solar, a diminishing Earth magnetic field, methane emerging from deep in the Earth's crust, etc. -- that we have no way of controlling.
The best we can do is prepare for long-term shortages.
Watch the rest. He says climate change but not something the people can directly cause, ie drought
Of course Climates change. There have been warmer periods and colder periods. Say a society flourishes during a warm period, agriculture goes well. Akin to having vine plantations up north in England or even Sweden. But now enters a cold period.
What happens to those resources that allowed a society to thrive? The capacity is diminished and so a society build on this temporary warmer climate, begins to collapse.
However, in our time, given the global scope of agriculture, there is no need to be concerned about that.
The other items this video point towards, are way more interesting. And as Durant noted: the collapse of the family unit was the core around the collapse of the Roman Empire.
There are more issues surrounding this matter. Such as a loss of confidence and trust in our fellow being to keep his word. Our society, based on trust, is being eroded by many things, not the least promoted invasion of aliens.
