It's not really "new"...this has been going on as far back as I can remember into the 1990s. Operation Mockingbird started a long time ago, and was not noticeable for a decade or two, but then it became so noticeable that many people began suspecting the media was compromised. It's nice to see, though, that this awareness is finally becoming common knowledge and that media outlets everywhere are losing viewers.
