Regardless of what Koresh was doing personally (varying reports on that) it wasn't illegal and their stated beef was the weapons violations the ATF cooked up. So they crispered a bunch of ppl over some unpaid tax stamps.

I lived thru the Era and believe me the feel was that Clinton/Reno were not the good guys in any way. That was the beginning of my red pilling in a real way
