I don't know about the rest of you, but Sin literally broke me. God's great mercy saw me come home to him, like a prodigal son.
Thank you Father God, Lord Jehovah, Thank you Jesus Christ, God the Son, my advocate before the Father, Thank you Holy Spirit, who resides in me and condemns my failures, strengthens my day, feeling a connection with you.
I just cannot imagine what dark place or sad grave I would have gone to without the redemption of Jesus Christ.
I screwed up. I slept around, I hurt people's feelings, I slept with peoples wifes, I walked lines and messed up so much. I don't deserve this mercy, but I have it through Christ Jesus, who paid it all on the cross.
Who honestly lives and revels in the sin? It has been proven to me without doubt, that God is:
Upright and always telling us the truth about sin.
Was always trying to save us from denigrating and degenerating ourselves.
Was always trying to keep us from getting separated from him.
Gave us free will to choose, even though he knew.
God created everything. Every beautiful thing is done by him. Every wonderful happy moment, this is something he gave us. Joy and peace issue forth from him.
We create the sad things, the bad, the unhappy, when we sin. When we choose to do evil and to be hurtful or most of the time, selfish. It's ugly stuff.
Difference is that if you accept Jesus Christ, and your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, you have an advocate before the father.
"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."
I will not be ashamed. This world calls me a racist for being born white, it calls me a nationalist, a transphobe, a misogynist, whatever discrediting label is convenient at the time for being a Christian, or White, or Male, Straight, and any combination of the four.
I don't care about the praise in this world anymore. It's empty. They could love you today and call for your bloody head on a pike tomorrow if you offend their cult of moloch.
I implore you my friend; Choose life. He will not be ashamed of us before God, and I am thankful to Lord Jesus. Sins will be thrown as far as east is from the west. I will not remember them again.
Jesus is everything, he paid everything, he suffered every ignominy. Consider the dread he felt knowing he was to die.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus suffered from Hemahidrosis. Where you sweat blood, it happens to human beings during intense anxiety, and is the hallmark of the peak of trepidation and mental anguish. Jesus was suffering in the garden with this condition. He felt our pain and worry and dread. "Father if this cup can pass from me let it, but nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."
His closest friends betrayed him for money and out of fear. The rest fled to save their lives. Men whom he loved dearly.
He wasn't only beaten, he was tortured. He was mentally abused, physically abused, made sport of, mocked, and ripped open.
His people, the people he came first to save, chose a murderer over him. He was innocent of all the crimes the Jewish hierarchy leveled at him.
He was made to bear the cross until he collapsed. He suffered incredibly. Finally, Lord Jesus was crucified, and they gave him vinegar when he was thirsty, mocking him with signs on the cross INRI. They pierced his side after his agony and blood spilt.
Lord Jesus is worth following. With that sacrifice, something precious, something innocent, was slain. It was the Son of God whom every sin was lain. He didn't just lay in the grave, he went to Abraham's bosom, to Sheol, to rescue and ransom. He rose again.
Defeating death if so we choose to join him.
Please Wtf_socialismreally: Answer the knock at the door, consider him, what he did, and how it echos throughout history and throughout the ages.
When we are before the father, let Lord Jesus say not that he was ashamed of you. This world and it's praise won't endure, but his grace will.
God would rather you honor him and his son's sacrifice that way too
💯
Truth.
Why would anyone side AGAINST God?

God was always right.
Thank you for your testimony giving glory to Him
Well said. Praying for courage and discernment when evil comes knocking at our door.
Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six...
I admit, I understand the sentiment but you are judged regardless. There aren't free rides.
But I'm also a pedantic bitch so there's that
