moon landings happened one way or another but I am certain were also faked so as to guarantee success.
Think about it, if you had the resources of the US gov't and had a mission of "go to the moon" wouldn't you do what you could to guarantee that the world saw that "you went to the moon" no matter what?
It doesn't matter if a human stepped on the moon when they supposedly did or if it was some time later or some time before, the world saw that we did it "first" so we won the space race, period.
That's all that mattered. The anomalies we see now and the contradictions are simply because it WAS faked - also.
Add in advanced tech, and that is another reason to fake it. We had to go "to the moon" with 1960s technology. Rockets and such.
That's another reason to fake it. We had to go, no matter what, and we had to do it with publicly accepted 1960s tech.
So if the rockets didn't work because they sucked, or if something went wrong with the rockets, we were gonna go as far as the public knew.
sorry for the rambling post, this is not a yes/no question. So many of the ideas, issues and problems of today are presented to us with a yes/no A/B premise, and they rarely are so simple.
