Because if they fought the lawsuit, they'd have to prove Dominion rigged the election in order to win the lawsuit. If they were successful and proved that Dominion rigged the election, it would also show that Biden is illegitimate and Trump is the real president. Rupert Murdoch doesn't like Trump. His two socialist sons really don't like Trump. Karl Rove, Paul RINO, and various other NeverTrump RINOs hate Trump for taking their power and influence away.

These people just paid 3/4s of a billion dollars and accepted the hit to their credibility to maintain the lie that Biden won in order to screw Trump.
