As if vaccine trials took a long time in the past because nobody's heart was in it. Had nothing to do with collecting actual verifiable long-term data across a wide spectrum of individuals, age groups and users of other medications.
If we all just wish real hard, we don't need no long term studies. It's Science!
Fact: 1/3 of all medications that get approved by the normal FDA process wind up being taken off the market after safety concerns are discovered after years of them being sold to the public...but we should totally trust a novel new vaccine that is rushed through in 1/10th the time it would normally take to be approved.
And 1 in 10,000 drugs are ever approved.
