I have suspected that as well. Just playing around with scenarios here:

What if Biden has a health scare, and talk of 25A (as Trump foreshadowed) ramps up just in time for the primary, cratering his support among the D base?

What if RFK Jr emerges as the overwhelming favorite to replace him, with old school Dems making up most of his base?

What if they are forced to watch as the DNC pulls off a rig job even more obvious than 2020 to shoehorn their preferred candidate (change of batter coming)?

What if Trump then takes RFK Jr as his running mate?
