Disney will profit from it, I'm sure. Like other events at the parks, this will be a separate ticketed event, meaning additional ticket sales. Exclusive merchandise will no doubt fly off the shelves to the dual-income, no kids patrons. Not to mention food sales.
I am not thinking as much as people think. Yes, Disney can possibly pull a short term profit on this, but even if they do, it won't be much. And I definitely don't think this will last. I do think that this is furthering the ruining of their reputation. And is therefore not a profitable investment for the long term.
But sadly, they will potentially make a little money off of this stunt, at least for now. It is in California, so there is that. Fags are gonna fag...
