Ok, look. You surely are aware the flat earth talk detracts from more relevant info here, and besides dilutes or even counters the effectiveness of research sharing going on here.
However, rather than engage those folks in an argument that goes on endlessly, and particularly having seen several others here wishing there were a single fact one could present that would address that whole theory as simply as possible, I thought I’d help out with one example — not one I’ve seen presented anywhere else for this purpose, and one which heads off any argument.
One either sees the internal logic (oh yeah, gravity is what makes celestial bodies, including the earth, spherical), or one does not, but there’s not much middle ground for splitting hairs, nor having long drawn out discussions. Do you see?
Okay I am assuming you have your heart in the right place. This is probably the worst possible way to start any discussion with the FE folks. These people do not believe stars exist, and they think sun and moon are flat disks put on a conveyer to fool us.

Haha, yeah I am aware. Hence we ban any FE talk here. You can take this to some other board and see how it fares. Just curious.
I would respectfully ask for another moderators opinion. Have you even glanced at my other posts and comments? If so, There should be no doubts where my heart is.
This particular post was not meant to start a discussion with FE folks, rather to provide an antidote vs fuzzy thinking by way of a single self-evident fact, which could be easily remembered, and thereby help fence sitters, newbies, any open seekers, to reason things out on their own.
This is eminently the Q approach — and certainly more so than the banning of straightforward facts which people can employ how they see fit.
If it has to be spelled out, it lessens its relevance.
Yeah didnt think there was any relevance. Thanks for confirming. Post removed.
