Pork butt and shoulder is still pretty cheap. You can still buy a Cook's ham for 13 bucks when they go on sale. Beef though has gone through the roof. The one place it remains reasonable is Costco.
Im taking my limit in all salmon, trout and game this year.
Yeah, I keep looking for the deals on fresh meat. Harder and harder to find. They put them on sale five minutes before they expire!
Good luck on your hunting/fishing. I was never really into it, but it's looking like I might have to start, but that's what I'd do is bag the limit.
