So I saw this flick (spoilers) this weekend... and the creeping cringe starts building up in you.. It's about a family of a single tattoo artist mom, her TRANS son (daughter), her middle daughter (yahoo activist for climate change and other stuff made to LOOK like a boy) and her youngest daughter who is "normal".
The sister of the Mother arrives because she find out she's pregnant and is iffy about keeping the child, and basically wants the Mom to help her on this issue.
Well shit goes sideways, here comes the deadites, and possess the Mom. Eventually, the deadites posses the TRANS KID and the LIBTARD KID. The sister protects the NORMAL youngest child, and ends up grinding and dismembering a combined DEMONIC FORCE of this trio, and escapes at the end deciding to keep the baby AND raise the NORMAL kid.
It seems to me like whoever put this together was like "it will appear as progressive respresentation" but if you look at the overall theme...anyone else see this?
So, we found a pristine copy of Ben Hur and plan to screen it with family and popcorn this weekend. Why pollute our brains with this junk when there's better stuff out there? It doesn't have to be religious epics, heck old Jackie Chan or the Airplane series are great too.
But okay, yes this theme is running counter to the general narrative, except for the distinct lack of men.
