I was telling a former coworker/friend about CBDC and the danger it poses to freedom and privacy, her response was "Oh President Biden would never let that happen to us".

At that point, I knew our friendship was over and once I hung up the phone, I would never speak to her again.

Such a brilliant person.

I don't much like or get along with other women, but she and I got along really well and I genuinely appreciated how smart she is/was.

So disappointing.
