I figured if people don't like the way I look, they can look elsewhere. I never was drawn to the makeup thing; possibly because my Mother never did. I think she used lipstick once in a blue moon but that was it. I tried some makeup long ago. It looked nice. Then I realized that it was a neverending cycle to cover the real me up and I abandoned the effort. 🤷
