The nation of Israel was scattered through the entire world. Most do not realize that there are many of us with Israelite ancestry in our blood. The Jews were just one of the twelve tribes of Israel. God promised Abraham his offspring would be as the stars of heaven in number. THAT is a lot more than those that just live in Israel. The Scepter was given to Judah because the Messiah would come from the line of David---a Jew. God's promises to Abraham are as relevant today as they were 3000 years ago.
