I would love to see Tucker getting fired as the inflection point in our history when the legacy garbage media began to finally die. TV news has been crap for decades, but it still does have some influence. My folks are in their 70's, God love them, but when my mother says something like "I saw it on Fox, so and so said this, and we trust him/him" I just fucking cringe inside. And then I let it go and enjoy time with my mother.

My theory is Fox totally stepped in it. He has the FU money, persona, name recognition, savvy, and experience to put out a killer podcast or his own news media source. And say, doesn't Trump own a media company now?

I personally think Tucker was propping up Fox. People watched/trusted Fox because they watched/trusted Tucker. They knew he wasn't afraid to tell the truth and report on stuff that was going to piss some people off. You know, actual journalism?

He could be the next modern Walter Kronkite, Trump should grab him up indeed to launch the Trump news network. It would be telling if whether or not Carson likes Trump or not? Trump is being coy about the whole endeavor, in no way critiquing him whatsoever. At least so far. Got me wondering?
