While I don't doubt that's his ultimate goal, that amendment doesn't legalize pedophilia, it simply makes it a crime to discriminate against pedos like it were any other 'protected class'. The law as written had a caveat explicitly stating that pedos aren't recognized as a legal sexual orientation so you could discriminate to your heart's content. What this tranny put fourth simply strikes that from the law. Meaning if someone touches kids they're still going to jail, but if they get out you can't deny them employment or housing because they're a pedo. Also it would mean you can't fire 'non-offending' pedos.

There's also an addendum that removes gender identity from the sexual orientation section and makes it a section of it's own. Don't know if that's some newfangled technicality where being a tranny is considered independent of sexual attraction, or if this was some calculated move. Sell the bill as being about formally recognizing gender expression as a protected class of it's own, so when sane people oppose the bill on the pedo grounds those who defend the bill can just ignore that and blame the detractors as being transphobes.
