Personally I don’t think lie detectors should have any place in modern society. People have a right to speak or remain silent based on the questions people pose to them. Something about lie detectors never sat well with me, whether they worked or not.

Agree. And in court, 97%-99% means 1-3 out of every 100 people will get off scott free for something they actually did. Or be wrongfully imprisoned.
I dont trust the courts anyways, but this adds even more room for error.
