DeSantis choosing to run in 2024 shows the desperation of the DS. They are willing to sacrifice the political career of a relatively young politician who had a bright future. DeSantis would have been a leading contender and likely nominee in the 2028 election had he gotten behind President Trump’s 2024 campaign.

It tells us how much is at stake in the 2024 election and that the Uniparty is worried they might not be able to steal it. They know another four years of President Trump ensures their destruction. They have to push DeSantis into the game now because 2028 will be too late for them.

Midwestern roots? WTF? Ronald Dion DeSantis was born on September 14, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida. His mother's family name, Rogers, was originally Ruggiero before her paternal grandfather changed it after entering the United States. DeSantis is Italian American; all of his great-grandparents were born in Southern Italy.

His paternal grandfather was Daniel DeSantis, born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, to parents Nicola DeSantis and Maria Nolfi, who were born in Cansano, Abruzzo region.

DeSantis' mother was a nurse and his father installed Nielsen TV-rating boxes. His parents met while attending Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, during the 1970s and moved to Florida during that decade.

So he is second generation Italian and was able to afford to attend ivy league schools with no mention of a scholarship anywhere in his bio. Someone must have some whopping student debt to pay off.

He met his wife, Casey Black, on a golf course at the University of North Florida. A former television host for the Golf Channel and WJXT (CNN), she married DeSantis on September 26, 2009, at Walt Disney (Pedo) World. Really?! Who in their right mind gets married at Disney World?
