God told the prophet Jeremiah that He would spare nations who repent of their sin and destroy nations who fall into sin. One example found in the book of Jonah when the city of Nineveh when Jonah preached that they would be destroyed in 40 days. Now the USA was founded on Christian principles, but we have long fallen from those ideals. I haven’t frequently worried about what God would do to us when abortion was accepted by large portions of our government and population. As we fight this great information war, let’s not forget that we need to pray to God to forgive for the evil our government has perpetrated during our lifetime. I would hate to think that we might defeat the deep state cabal on to be destroyed because we didn’t have a repentant heart.
as disciples of Jesus we are called to go preach and teach the gospel to a lost and dying world and make more disciples. to bring the righteousness of God into our midst since he lives in us. The lost are doing what they naturally do- desperately SIN, they need born again. churches need to get into the battle and TEACH and EQUIP believers to this task Eph 4:11-12. doing so leads to Eph 4:13. there is no unity because many churches abandoned v12, locked in v11. when i meet other believers in the field we can fellowship, and often do. we believe in healing and see it, when the others who don't believe are able to witness Gods move, they rethink (metanoeo) their positions, because everyone is glad for the work of God taking place. the move of holy spirit often creates what others term "revival" (think of the recent university fun!).
So this post has a spirit of "concern", oh my- what will come of us... watch this video and get a glimpse of what God is doing to the kids... man this is awesome, i meet these kids in the field, and see GOD at work in them. catch the Holy Spirit fire and join the fight....
