Sadly for our ganja compatriots, THC appears to inhibit the CBD activity on rna virus.
But the hopeful implication is that it should, and is likely to, provide the same pharmacological protection/theraputics from all nasty rna viruses.
Just don't look for the big pharma conglomerates to sponsor the research.
If you're going to post "peer-reviewed scientific study proves [anything], you need to provide a link to the study, not a link to a YT video. Yes, Dr. Campbell is a trustworthy source, but that's not an excuse for failing to link to the actual research.
The links are a bit strange here. The pre-print BioRXiv link goes back to March 2021. (Link here). Then apparently, it was published in Jan 2022 in Science Advances (Link here), which isn't a journal I've ever heard of. This is not the same as the very famous journal Science.
The most important thing here is that this is a biochemistry paper that's 2 years old now. It is in vitro research, not a clinical trial. This is the kind of hypothesis-generating research that leads to clinical trials, but it is not proof that CBD in any form actually works in the real world.
