The Irish were worried about international bankruptcy proceedings. So they re-instated exports of whiskey to Russia late last year.
NOW, the Ukrainians claim that the whiskey is fuelling the war effort.
I am not sure how that works exactly, seeing as Russia is spending money, not receiving it. Also, one does not imagine that the troops are being fed Irish Whiskey, exactly - they would be at a disadvantage if they were drunk, would they not? And, they would prolly prefer Vodka, being ordinary Russian citizens, just as US truck drivers prefer certain brands of beer. I imagine that imported whiskey would be something for non-military peeps.
In any case, how can third parties decide upon a trade between two countries? This is the ridiculous part. Do Ukrainian authorities really think they have enough power over the EU to prevent such trade?
haha, good plan. I don't drink, but I felt that one should put up some free advertising for Jameson's, just for their antidisestablishmentarianist stance.
What are the Russians doing with it? Using it to fuel their fighter jets?
I pour myself a sip of Jameson on St. Patrick's Day and sometimes New Years Eve. LONG LIVE JAMESON!
Haha, yeah that came to mind too! Rocket fuel?

The Welsh invented it.
