Late-night comedy SHUT DOWN as Hollywood writers vote to go on strike
Shows hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers will all air re-runs on Tuesday, after Hollywood writers voted to strike for the first time in 15 years.
That writer's strike 15 years ago? That was the dividing line. Shows produced before that date - normal, enjoyable, not politically correct. Shows produced after the writers "came back" from the strike? Horrible, fake and every other character on a show had to be gay. The shows and movies before and after were like day and night. What REALLY happened? What is really happening now???
And, ironically, that's exactly why their wages are low today. Nobody is watching it because it is shit. But they're blaming it on "the explosion of streaming services."
