By Heaven's precious Grace, we DO have supernatural power - or at least, we can have access TO supernatural power. God has set up at least one way (and probably a lot more than I know about) for humans to OPEN themselves to God's ETERNAL-OMNICIENCE, WISDOM and HEALING.
OP, I don't post or even comment very often but I think there's a very important reason that I noticed your post. SO, I'm here to say there is MUCH more to what God is willing to share with us - ACROSS the spectrum of supernatural power - if we're willing to pursue relationship with Him as our highest priority. (Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness... Matthew. 6:33)
AND, it's important to note that God WILL NOT share supernatural power with those persons who are not 'aligned' with (lovingly obedient) to His gracious agenda. Remember, spiritual power that is not 'His' is power with which we don't want to dabble.
Psalm 22:3 gives us a glimpse of how we can open ourselves to God's supernatural presence - and my theory is that our Heavenly Father set up this capability to benefit us and all of the world around us. He did this on PURPOSE!
Through sincere PRAISE and THANKSGIVING ("But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel." Ps. 22:3) we open ourselves to be 'INHABITED' by God's precious Holy Spirit (yes, it can be VERY 'exciting'). HOWEVER, there's no point in trying to flatter God in order to receive 'power'. God looks on our hearts and God knows our intentions from the get-go. Those people who sincerely love God and love people and who want to serve God and His purposes are VERY qualified to receive the Spirit of The Holy One of Israel!
AND, our Heavenly Father WANTS relationship with us! Our Lord WANTS to share Holy Spirit power with us for the sake of making His Kingdom REAL in us and around us! Again, HE DID THIS ON PURPOSE! No, we don't pursue relationship with God for the sake of supernatural power (but seeing Heaven at work in our natural world can be a LOT of fun). But I believe God WANTS to especially empower those who will love Him and serve Him and who want to make His Kingdom REAL.
AND REMEMBER: Psalm 22 is the Scripture Jesus referenced from the Cross when He cried out to God! Probably WAYYY more than I know, there is a LOT going on in Psalm 22 but at least, this chapter tells us: "GOD WINS!!" AMEN!
