Sounds like the child is smarter than his abusive mother. That child needs to be removed from his abuser’s home. I will not call her his mother, because mothers are supposed to protect. Remove him and place him with his father (if appropriate), another family member or a loving home of a stranger. There will come a day when these children will sue their parents for the abuse against their will.
