I hope hes okay the one thing that might help him is he has a US Passport,cant see the Fed helping him out,.but wait,.theres a way out,for him ,just claim hes Trans,,?

I doubt that the US passport will help him, as they are emphasizing some sort of 'South American' connection, as if that is really incriminating. The fact that it is Chilean is not even mentioned.

Some people even think having a dual passport is suspect.
