Well...my husband actually qualified to have all $10,000.00 cost of the androgen blocker treatment covered...which is a blessing...especially since that is the treatment the urologist wants (plus chemo which we won't do). We went to our regular doctor for a physical, even though the doc masked and pushed the shots...I have gone him for almost 30 years...he is Indian...and usually fairly natural...my kids weren't vaxxed...I use natural healing...etc...all acceptable. Well, I told him about the Tippens protocol that he started and the testosterone blockers the urologist recommended that he was starting. He was very supportive...which opened my husbands eyes that I am not an uninformed kook. He suggested Cancer Treatment Centers of America (who just changed their name to City of Hope) and my husband actually listened and respected his point of view.

I had forgotten all about that place. The doc was going to give me the # but I said give it to hubby because he was the one that had to call and make the decision. In the meantime...he had a follow up at the urologist and asked if he did any holistic treatment and the doc said no. So my hubby ended up calling City of Hope...found out our insurance covers treatment there...made an appointment for 2 days of testing and evaluation and has talked to several people. They use traditional treatment but add different holistic elements to it. I am glad that he has done this and am looking forward to what they will propose since one of his first visits is with an oncologist and I believe these people push their wares...but we will see...I have to bone up on chemo...I saw interesting stats...I just have to find it...

So overall in his physical from the doc...he appears fine and healthy...but the androgen blocker will have an effect at some point (male menopause) and what man does not need testosterone??????? But that is his choice. I realized the Tippens protocol used too low of a dose of the FBZ so we have upped his consumption of that. He is now taking 1 Tablespoon a day and will up it to 2 a day when I get more. His dosage for 200 lbs. should be 2.7 Tablespoons per day. I would be happy with 2. The Tippens protocol suggests 1/2 teaspoon and that is for a 10# dog. Human and dog dosing is the same weight wise. I learned about this from Florida Sharkman and Contraband Cures. There seems to be no side effects from the FBZ being taken daily. All the testosterone blockers will do is block the T from the cancer cells...but the FBZ actually kills the cancer cells. BIG DIFFERENCE...

So...we will see what the future will bring...he has continued all the supplements I give him and we have added moringa seeds because my son buys them. I think he is doing well but when City of Hope tests everything I am hoping to see a lower PSA or some change in the cancer cells...but maybe it is too early...but I am confident...and I can add more as I do more research...but I don't want to overwhelm him.

Do you know your mom's Vitamin D levels? I have mine up to between 60-70 and I swear that is one of the best things we have all done...I take 10,000 IU's per day with a Super K from Life Extension and it has helped SO much to get that number elevated...and they are so easy to take. Did you ever do anything with the melatonin...I am still taking 120 mg. every night and at some point will increase to 180mg. I feel fine and my sleep has really improved but I think it is doing other things...but I am still just evaluating...nothing conclusive.
