What is the difference if they indict him now or Wednesday? Wouldn’t you want to surprise him?

I think the committee has requested a specific document identified by a whistleblower and the deadline for the FBI to turn it over is Wednesday. If he is indited before the production deadline, they can resist the document production as it would pertain to an active prosecution.
