They're smart enough to know that with the illegals come the cartels. And the gangbangers that currently control their cities aren't going to be happy with new criminals muscling in on their business.

That said, their voting record is clear. They supported the policies. Now, they can live with them. Go riot and burn down your own cities again. This is how you want to live, then so be it.
