Examples:
- Tokyo is more dense than any American city. But they have less crime.
- Hong Kong's subway system is privately owned. And it's efficient, and the most financially healthy in the world.
- The typical Hong Kong diet has a higher portion of meat compared to every Blue Zone: regions where there are many people living past 100 years. And they live longer than Americans.
- Many places have more economic freedom than in the US in some fashion. EG: more freedom to advertise wherever you want, street food is more commonplace, etc. The lefties say that capitalism and greed will degrade life. But why are the Asians living longer lives?
- Homeless people in Japan don't threaten people's lives. Therefore, it's possible to hold homeless people to the same standards as civilized people IF we fix our culture.
You can find more examples yourself. There are plenty of places where crime is low, and life expectancy is high, and they achieved it without woke policies.
I'd just like to add another Asian perspective based on language. I'm from the Philippines and normal conversation does not use the English equivalent of He/Him, She/Her.
In our language, we set the context of whoever is being referred to and we just a general term like Siya (He/Her) and Kanya (His/Hers). There are no specific pronouns to denote if the person being talked about is male, female or otherwise. They are simply referred to as 'that person we're talking about' summarized by "Siya".
I believe this goes for other languages as well which makes this entire English pronoun gender gibberish sound pretty dumb to a lot of us.
Some languages do not use gender at all while other lnguages and cultures have even more gender-specific words. French, for instance, has slightly different words for male and female cousins. In English we cope without that. Some languages like to define whether an uncle, for instance, is of your bloodline or has just married into it.
Many of the woke rules we see today are not global in extent. They obviously came from an English-speaking culture but the people making those rules are not smart enough to realise that.
This is an introduction to how the rest of the world does it.
In Singapore they have land value tax and low corporate, capital gains, and income taxes. Singapore usually has some of the best employment, economic growth, and GDP per capita statistics in the world.
